Welcome to Lovelock House

Lovelock House is situated within a 5 minute walk to the University of Otago and a 10 minute walk to the City Centre.

The house commands a sunny elevated position overlooking the North Dunedin Campus area.

It has fully furnished double and single rooms.

 

Accommodation:

The house consists of 14 rooms in total, 6 double and 8 single. 

All rooms have desks, desk lamps and adjustable desk chairs and

come complete with all bed linen.

Occupants will require their own towels.

Shared facilities consist of self contained bathrooms, a modern well-equipped kitchen and dining area, laundry with automatic washing machines and driers.

There is also provision on the first floor for tea/coffee making facilities.

 

Room Rates:

Minimum Length of stay is one week (7 nights).

 

Stays in the house of less than 4 weeks, the room rate is:

  • Single room (one person)    $40.00 per night

  • Double room (one person) $50/night (two people) $60/night

Stays in the house 4 weeks or more:

  • Single room  $135.00 per week

  • Double room (one person)   $170 per week

  • Double room (couple)   $205 per week

Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of the first two weeks rent. Email for details regarding this.

Cancellations/Alterations to bookings within three weeks of the confirmed arrival date will forfeit the deposit.

 

All room rates include most electricity, bed linen, and the use of kitchen, laundry, bathroom facilities.
